Walk in the Meadows ... Sticks

Quick run on the treadmill (or so I thought it would be) kids are sat up the table eating breakfast can I fit in three miles or will it be a mile and a half, kids eat weetabix and fruit then asked to colour in after breakfast so I pushed it to three miles woohoo!!!

Abs app work out completed (kids like to join in for this) not bad if your struggling on time, the app counts you down for the timed exercises like plank, but also if you are doing 30 cross armed sit ups it counts you so if your keeping an eye on your kids or trying to do more than this at once its great so you don't lose count on how many your doing or even how many left you have to do, even has a pause button and can skip the rest between (when borrowed for time like I am) LOL

So I decided taking the kids to see their Great Grandparents (husbands side) pack up check, toys check, games charged for in the car check, sweets (bribery) check, money for toll road check. We are good to go.

Car journey kids were great I didn't have to tell them off not even once thats a first!!!

Kids sat up the table and ate their dinner, ate it all YES!!!!! well behaved!! WOOHOOO times like this I am so proud family and my children are everything to me and I believe that the memories we make stay with us and I hope my children have memories of all of their Great Grandparents.

After they ate cake, well wore most of it but enjoyed it so was funny to watch and nice to see them enjoy it Victoria sponge with jam Amelia liked and Robert had apple filling and cream was nice too, Robert was wearing more than he ate :)

My kids are outdoor kids no matter what the weather they want to be outside so purchasing, snowcoats and raincoats and wellies are an essential, so after their dinner took them for a walk where my hubby used to go as a kid and though he wasn't with us it felt nice reliving a memory that he has with our children :) We walked the meadows and the kids enjoyed, throwing sticks in the river off the bridge and looking over the other side of the bridge and watching them float past and see whose went the furthest.

Walking back we picked up wild flowers and made an arrangement and Amelia was very chuffed we didn't get stung which was an achievement in itself.

Flowers we picked on our walk :) Days like this, kids tell me they had fun and remember the walk and what we did, who with no money needed or spent is what life is all about.
